There are roughly 600,000 families relying on Burundi coffee and the country produces roughly 200,000 60kg sacks every year

 

This roughly translates to 1 bag for every 3 families but we decided to be more helpful and more impactful by basing our pledge on a 1:1 ratio

 

That means that every 60kg sack of Burundi coffee corresponds directly to 1 farmer family
